Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Beetroot Pickle

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 2 to 3 nos beetroot
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 5-10 green chillies
  • 5 methi seeds
  • 5 mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp asafetodia
  • Chiilli powder as per taste
  • 2 tbsp oil

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Cut Beetroot & chillies into small pieces add salt and keep aside.
  2. Fry mustard and methi seeds and powder them.
  3. Mix this powder with Asafetodia & Chiilli Powder.
  4. Heat Oil and remove from flame.
  5. Add the mixture in the oil along with the beetroot & chillies which are kept aside.
  6. Place them in a bottle, add vinegar and add salt if required.
