Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Chatpata Wadas
Ingredients for the Recipe
- For the wadas
- 2½ teacups gram dal
- 12 red chillies
- 2 sliced onions
- 2 sliced green chillies
- 4 tsp mint leaves, chopped
- ½ grated fresh coconut
- 2 tbsp mint leaves, chopped
- 1 tsp jeera
- salt to taste
- oil for deep frying
For the coconut chutney
- 1 grated fresh coconut
- 1 onion
- 6 green chillies
- 4 tbsp coriander, chopped
- a small ball tamarind
- salt to taste
Recipe (How to Make):
For the wadas
- Soak the dal overnight.
- Grind the dal with the jeera and green and red chillies
- Mix the remaining ingredients.
- Shape into wadas and deep fry in oil.
- Serve with coconut chutney.
For the coconut chutney
- Grind all the Ingredients, by using a little water while grinding.
