Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Cheesy Stuffing on Toast
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 12 to 14 round pieces toast
- 4 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 teacup milk
- 1 tsp butter
- 1 teacup boiled green peas
- 2 to 3 green chillies, chopped
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- salt to taste
- oil for frying
For the cheese covering :
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp grated cooking cheese
- ½ teacup milk
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- ¼ tsp pepper powder
- salt to taste
For serving :
Recipe (How to Make):
- Combine the potatoes, milk, butter, green peas, green chillies, pepper and salt.
- Combine all the Ingredients for the cheese covering.
- On each piece of toast, spread the potato mixture evenly.
- Make a small hole in the centre.
- Apply the cheese covering all over the potato mixture and close the edges between
the potato mixture and toast.
- Deep fry upside down in hot oil.
- Fill the centre with tomato ketchup.
- Ready to serve.
