Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Cheesy Stuffing on Toast

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 12 to 14 round pieces toast
  • 4 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 teacup milk
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 teacup boiled green peas
  • 2 to 3 green chillies, chopped
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

For the cheese covering :

  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 2 tbsp grated cooking cheese
  • ½ teacup milk
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp pepper powder
  • salt to taste

For serving :

  • Tomato ketchup

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Combine the potatoes, milk, butter, green peas, green chillies, pepper and salt.
  2. Combine all the Ingredients for the cheese covering.
  3. On each piece of toast, spread the potato mixture evenly.
  4. Make a small hole in the centre.
  5. Apply the cheese covering all over the potato mixture and close the edges between the potato mixture and toast.
  6. Deep fry upside down in hot oil.
  7. Fill the centre with tomato ketchup.
  8. Ready to serve.
