Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Crunchy Cutlets

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 teacup grated cauliflower
  • 1 teacup grated cabbage
  • 1 potato, boiled and mashed
  • 1 teacup grated paneer
  • 1 tbsp coriander, chopped
  • 3 to 4 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tsp jeera
  • 2 pinches Ajinomoto powder
  • 1 tbsp ghee
  • salt to taste

For the batter :

  • 1 teacup gram flour
  • 1 teacup water
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Oil for deep frying

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Heat the ghee and sauté the jeera.
  2. Put the raw cauliflower and cabbage and the Ajinomoto powder and cook for a few minutes.
  3. Put the potato, paneer, coriander, green chillies and salt.
  4. Keep the mixture to cool and then shape into rounds. Flatten the rounds.
  5. Combine the gram flour, water, chilli powder and salt to make a batter.
  6. Dip the cutlets in this batter and deep fry in oil.
  7. Ready to serve.
