Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Dahi Wada

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 cup urad dal (washed)
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 2 nos green chilli
  • Oil/Ghee to fry
  • 4 cup curd/yoghurt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ black salt
  • 1 pint pepper
  • ½ tsp zeera powder
  • 1 pint chilli powder

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Wash dal and soak in 3 cup of water for 1-2 hrs. Drain water.
  2. Grind dal with ginger and green chilli with adding sufficient amount of water to make a thick batter.
  3. Heat the oil, and keep the gas on medium heat.
  4. Make balls and fry.
  5. Drain the extra oil on soak paper.
  6. Mix milk to the curd and stir it well.
  7. Add all the ingredients and soak fried wada into the mixture for at least half an hour.
  8. Garnish with coriander leaves, and serve.
