Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Jam Tartlets
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 1 short crust pastry
- jam
- 20 tart moulds
Recipe (How to Make):
- Pre-heat the oven to fairly hot at 400F. have ready 18-20 patty tins.
- Make the short pastry dough.
- Roll out thinly and cut into circles, larger than
the moulds, with a cutter.
- Line each tin with a round of pastry, pressing down gently with the fingertips.
- Place a spoon of jam in each. Do not add too much or it will boil out.
- Bake in a pre-heated over for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven.
- Leave in tins for 2-3 minutes. Remove care-fully and cool on a wire tray.
- Serve with custard.
