Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Kesar Nankhatai Biscuits
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 100 gms maida
- 100 gms fine semolina
- 100 gms powdered sugar
- ¼ tsp nutmeg powder
- 1 tsp thick fresh curds
- 100 gms ghee
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- ¼ tsp soda bi-carb
- ¼ tsp saffron
- 1 tsp milk
Recipe (How to Make):
- Sieve the maida. Sieve the semolina with a fine sieve.
- Cream the ghee and sugar properly until it becomes light and creamy.
- Put the cardamom and nutmeg powders and cream again.
- Warm the saffron and melt in 1 tsp of milk.
- Put the curds, soda bi-carb and make saffron.
- Stir well. Put the maida and semolina and knead well.
- Form into small rounds.
- Place on a greased baking tin and bake in a moderate oven at 300ºF for
at least 30 to 40 minutes.
- Keep it to cool and store.
