Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Lichee Sponge Cake

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 cup maida
  • 200 gm condensed milk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¾ tsp cooking soda ( Soda bicarb )
  • 1/3 rd cup oil
  • ½ cup canned lichees
  • ¼ cup water
  • Ghee or butter for coating glass bowl

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. First sieve the maida, baking powder, cooking soda together.
  2. Now put all the ingredients in a mixie and grind them well.
  3. Take a round glass bowl, coat it inside with ghee or butter.
  4. Pour batter into glass bowl.
  5. Microwave on 60-80% power for 10 mins.
  6. Let it stand for a couple of mins before inverting onto a dish.
