Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Mango Ginger Sorbet
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 400 g mangoes
- 60 g sugar
- 2 tbsp chopped glace ginger
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 egg whites
- 1½ cups water
Recipe (How to Make):
- Combine water and sugar in saucepan. Stir constantly over heat, without boiling,
until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil.
- Boil for 10 minutes, uncovered and without stirring.
- Cool and refrigerate.
- Blend mango flesh, lemon juice and ginger until smooth.
- Add sugar syrup and process until well combined.
- Pour mixture into a pan, cover with foil and freeze until set.
