Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Milk Jelly
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 300 ml milk
- 15 g gelatine
- 1 tsp castor sugar
- lemon rind
- 4 tbsp water
Recipe (How to Make):
- Heat the gelatine gently in the water until dissolved.
- Add the milk, sugar and thinly-cut strips of lemon rind.
- Stir over a gentle heat until sugar is dissolved.
- Strain into a basin and stir from time to time until it attains the consistency
of thick cream.
- Pour into a wet mould. The jelly may be flavoured with vanilla or coffee essence.
