Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Moussaka
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 300 gms boiled potato slices
- 500 gms minced meat
- 2 nos medium sized onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- 4 tomatoes, skinned and chopped
- 100 gms cheese, grated
- white sauce
For garnishing :
Recipe (How to Make):
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion and fry them till they turn pink. Add ginger and
stir for a minute.
- Add minced meat, salt and stir for 2-3 mins. Then cook till done.
- Arrange half the potatoes in layers in a greased oven proof dish. Then cover
with the remaining potatoes.
- Make the white sauce and stir in most of the cheese and pour over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degree C for 25 min.
- Garnish with sprig of coriander leaves and tomato slices.
