Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Pineapple Custard

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 big pine apple
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • ½ litre milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp elaichi powder
  • 2 tbsp vanilla icecream

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Boil the milk in low flame until it is reduced.
  2. Keep stirring continously so that the milk does not stick to the pan.
  3. Then take ¼ cup of milk & just warm it up in the microwave for a minute or so.
  4. Then add the custard powder in the milk & mix it very well.
  5. See to it that no lumps are formed.
  6. Once the first milk is boiled, then add the condensed milk to it & keep stirring continously.
  7. Once that is done then add the custard & milk paste.
  8. Mix well together & allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
  9. Then add the elaichi powder & mix it well
  10. Allow it to cool & then refrigerate it (not in the freezer)
  11. Cut the pineapple & add the sugar.
  12. Mix it well & keep it in the fridge.
  13. Just before serving, beat vanilla ice cream & pour it into the custard, also add the pineapple pieces into the custard & Serve cold.
