Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Pineapple Custard
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 1 big pine apple
- 2 tbsp custard powder
- ½ litre milk
- 1 can condensed milk
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp elaichi powder
- 2 tbsp vanilla icecream
Recipe (How to Make):
- Boil the milk in low flame until it is reduced.
- Keep stirring continously so that the milk does not stick to the pan.
- Then take ¼ cup of milk & just warm it up in the microwave for a
minute or so.
- Then add the custard powder in the milk & mix it very well.
- See to it that no lumps are formed.
- Once the first milk is boiled, then add the condensed milk to it & keep
stirring continously.
- Once that is done then add the custard & milk paste.
- Mix well together & allow it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Then add the elaichi powder & mix it well
- Allow it to cool & then refrigerate it (not in the freezer)
- Cut the pineapple & add the sugar.
- Mix it well & keep it in the fridge.
- Just before serving, beat vanilla ice cream & pour it into the custard,
also add the pineapple pieces into the custard & Serve cold.
