Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Plantain Puli Curry
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 2 to 3 washed plantain, peeled, and diced
- ½ tsp urad dal
- ¼ tsp mustard
- a small pinch hing
- ¼ tsp turmeric
- ¼ tsp tamarind paste
- 2 red chilli
- 1 tsp curry powder
- A few curry leaves
- 3 to 4 tsp oil
- 1 tsp salt
Recipe (How to Make):
- Heat 1 tsp of oil in a pan and put the mustard.
- When they crackle, put hing, urad dal, curry leaves, turmeric, red chilli and
diced plantain.
- Sprinkle water and allow it to cook for 10 minutes.
- Now put salt, curry powder and mix it well.
- Add little water to tamarind paste and sprinkle this on the plantain curry.
- Allow it to cook for a few more minutes.
