Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Pyaaz Ki Roti

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 4 to 5 onions
  • 3 to 4 green chillies, chopped
  • 3 to 4 tsp anardana
  • 2 teacups whole meal flour
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • salt to taste

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Roast the anardana slightly and powder them.
  2. Chop the onions very finely. Sprinkle a little salt, wait for 5 minutes and squeeze out the water completely.
  3. Put the green chillies, salt and powdered anardana on the onion.
  4. Put the ghee and ½ tsp salt to the flour and prepare a soft dough by adding enough water.
  5. Roll out a small roti, add a little of the onion mixture in it.
  6. Seal it and roll out again. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining dough. Roast the rotis lightly on a tava on both sides.
  7. Before serving, put the roti in a toaster, until it become crispy
  8. Ready to serve hot.
