Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Quick Pudding
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 450 gms orange or pineapple slice
- 100 gms orange or pineapple jelly
- 1 family pack vanilla ice-cream
- ¼ tsp orange or pineapple essence
- juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ tsp grated orange rind
For garnishing :
- whipped cream
- fruit pieces
Recipe (How to Make):
- Cut the canned fruit and keep aside the syrup.
- Combine the syrup from the fruit can with 2 teacups of water and boil.
- When the syrup starts boiling, put the jelly and mix properly.
- Soften the vanilla ice cream and pour the boiling jelly mixture over it.
- Put the essence, lemon juice and rind, mix well and pour into a wetted mould.
- Allow it to set in the freezer compartment of a refrigerator.
- Before serving, dip the mould in hot water for a few seconds, loosen the sides
and unmould on a plate.
- Garnish with whipped cream and fruit pieces.
- Ready to serve.
