Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Raw Jackfruit Cutlet

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 medium-sized raw jackfruit
  • 1 tbsp bengalgram flour (besan)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 6 green chillies, chopped
  • 1 bunch of coriander leaves
  • chopped
  • 1 bunch of mint leaves, chopped
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Remove the skin of the jackfruit and cut it into large pieces.
  2. Boil the pieces adding salt and turmeric powder for 10 min.
  3. Take out the boiled pieces from water and smash them.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients (except oil), mix well and knead into a soft dough using water.
  5. Divide into balls, flatten into rounds and fry in oil.
  6. Serve hot.
