Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Raw Jackfruit Cutlet
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 1 medium-sized raw jackfruit
- 1 tbsp bengalgram flour (besan)
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 green chillies, chopped
- 1 bunch of coriander leaves
- chopped
- 1 bunch of mint leaves, chopped
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp red chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Recipe (How to Make):
- Remove the skin of the jackfruit and cut it into large pieces.
- Boil the pieces adding salt and turmeric powder for 10 min.
- Take out the boiled pieces from water and smash them.
- Add the remaining ingredients (except oil), mix well and knead into a soft dough
using water.
- Divide into balls, flatten into rounds and fry in oil.
- Serve hot.
