Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Tomato Vadi

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 kg tomato
  • 1 coconut, grated
  • 1 ½ cup sugar

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Boil tomatoes in water for 10, 15 mins.
  2. Remove and grind it in mixy without water.
  3. Filter it and separate pulp and juice.
  4. Keep pulp away and take only juice.
  5. Heat juice on low flame stirring it continuously.
  6. As it starts becoming thick add coconut, sugar and again stir it, till it becomes thick enough and leaves sides.
  7. Grease a big plate with ghee, spread mixture over it and make diamond shapes on it.
  8. Cool it for 1 hrs.
  9. Delicious vadi ready to serve.
