Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Vegetable Fingers
Ingredients for the Recipe
- ½ cup green gram
- ½ cup mixed vegetables (carrot, beans, cauliflower, cabbage, etc.)
- 3 green chilies
- Garlic
- Ginger
- 1 onion
- 3 tbsp plain yogurt
- 1 pinch baking soda
- Oil
- Salt to taste
Recipe (How to Make):
- Soak green gram in water for 2 hours and grind with salt to smooth paste without
adding water.
- Boil chopped vegetables. Add these vegetables, baking soda and the yogurt to
the paste.
- Stir properly and pour this in idli plates & steam in a pressure cooker.
- Allow it to cool for few minutes and cut into fingers.
- Deep-fry this in oil till it becomes crispy.
- Ready to serve hot.
