Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Vermicilli Pudding

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 200 gms vermicilli
  • 1 litre milk
  • 250 gms sugar
  • Cardamom powder
  • 2 pinches saffron
  • 8 tbsp ghee
  • 15-20 pieces cashews

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Roast the vermicilli in 4 tbsp of ghee till they get a golden brown colour.
  2. Boil the milk. Once it starts boiling, add the vermicilli to the milk.
  3. Allow it to boil till the vermicilli gets cooked.
  4. Now, add the sugar and stir till it dissolves.
  5. Also, add the saffron and cardamom powder.
  6. Continue to boil till you get the desired consistency.
  7. Garnish with roasted cashew. Serve hot or cold.
