Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Vermicilli Pudding
Ingredients for the Recipe
- 200 gms vermicilli
- 1 litre milk
- 250 gms sugar
- Cardamom powder
- 2 pinches saffron
- 8 tbsp ghee
- 15-20 pieces cashews
Recipe (How to Make):
- Roast the vermicilli in 4 tbsp of ghee till they get a golden brown
colour.
- Boil the milk. Once it starts boiling, add the vermicilli to the milk.
- Allow it to boil till the vermicilli gets cooked.
- Now, add the sugar and stir till it dissolves.
- Also, add the saffron and cardamom powder.
- Continue to boil till you get the desired consistency.
- Garnish with roasted cashew. Serve hot or cold.
