Indian Cooking Recipe : How to Make Wheat Payasam

Ingredients for the Recipe

  • 1 pav wheat
  • ½ kg gur
  • 2 cups coconut gratings
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 1 pinch salt

Recipe (How to Make):

  1. Sprinkle water all over wheat.
  2. Grind in grinding stone.
  3. Dehusk the wheat, by winnowing.
  4. Repeat the process 3 to 4 times. Then wash the wheat.
  5. Grind coconut gratings and take out its juice.
  6. Cook the washed wheat, in one litre of water, till it becomes soft.
  7. Put crushed gur and a pinch of salt. Pour the extracted coconut juice.
  8. When the gur melts and begins to boil, take out from flame.
  9. Put powdered cardamom and mix
  10. Ready to serve.
